thinking things as i say them.
Mate, it's about time I had some sort of webzone, and this is my webzone. I'm not sure what exactly I want to do with it, but I'll figure it out as I'm typing this right now.
Probably blogs and stuff, things I think are important, funny, a combination of the two is usual.
What do you do?
Me? Well! Mostly things in video games. It's a decision my bank account has forever thanked me for because, as we all know, you get into video games for the fame and money. Especially indie games.
Now, as that isn't true of either me or the financial realities of the industry - what do I do?
I talk about them! That's where I started, on TV and hosting stages at events like PAX and E3*, and that moved into community management, marketing, videos, podcasts, that kinda stuff. The main thread is that I like talking to passionate people about the things they make, and video games happen to be a thing I'm also passionate about.
I want more people to hear what these passionate people are saying, and experience the art they are making. So, I do all the things. Currently I'm the Head of Creative Marketing for Strange Scaffold where I've been a part of shipping...

1* I say "at E3", I was in a car park across the road from the massive LA Expo Hall with Devolver Digital. We had a stage, big silver caravan looking things that had cooler names and aesthetics than that mental image may conjour up. But I did manage to get in the building a few times, so I fully count that as "at E3".
